Jay # 73

Jay Started his racing career in 2005 when he was 12 years old on a minimoto, racing in the Phoenix minimoto club championships, coming 4th in his first year with numerous podiums and one win.

In 2006 Jay raced on a JAWA 72cc machine at Phoenix racing, EMRA and also some New Era rounds gaining experience and learning the bigger tracks like Cadwell Park, Oulton Park and Mallory Park.

In 2007 jay started on his Honda RS125, first testing in Spain in March. Then straight into racing at Darley Moor achieving a podium position. Jay competed in many championships in 2007 including; ACU Motostar, New Era and North Gloucester.
As he was achieving so well in his Championships, we decided to enter Jay into the GP 125 Championship in the British Super Bikes Half way through the year. Jay improved straight away at BSB qualifying 9TH at Cadwell Park before crashing in the race and injuring his little finger badly, he then bounced back up to speed to qualify 7th at Brands Hatch Indy just over half a second of pole position.

In 2008 Jay will be competing in the BSB, GP 125 Championship, Aiming to consistently get top 5 positions and get an invite to the Moto GP at Donington Park.
